I’m Will, and my aim is to provide a service of producing bespoke illustrations for a variety of clients in various formats including book editorials and jackets, narrative illustrations, character design and more. My speciality is in digital illustration although I am also skilled in traditional art methods such as pencil and biro, with which I have been drawing my whole life.
I have currently had my work featured in the New Designers 2014 exhibition in London as well as the NOISE Festival 2014 in the Illustration category judged by Gerald Scarfe. I have also previously entered competitions such as the Puffin Childrens’ Prize 2013 (entry for The Wind In The Willows book jacket design) and the House of Illustration’s book illustration competition 2014 (entry for Heart of Darkness book jacket design and editorials).
To me every new drawing or illustration I produce is an opportunity to experiment and try something new. Whether it be through trying a different drawing technique, a new method of application or working on a new illustration format altogether, I’m always broadening my horizons, honing my skills and perfecting my craft to ensure that I produce the best quality illustrations with care and detail for my clients. I’m available for commissions, so feel free to drop me a message if you like what you see and think my style is right for you!
